Jewelry Cleaning Tips

Safe, Natural Cleaning Tips for Jewelry

Materials Needed for cleaning:

Supplies:

Dishwashing Liquid

Warm Water

Tools:

Small bowl

Microfiber cloth or jewelry cloth

Cotton ball

Cotton swab

 

Cleaning Instructions:

Wipe all pieces after wearing:

If jewelry is gold plated it is important to regularly remove any chemicals it may come in contact with. Use a microfiber cloth or cotton ball to remove any body oils and soil.

Mix Solution:

Use a small bowl to mix two to three drops of dishwashing liquid with one cup of warm water.

Soak Jewelry:

Soak for about 10 minutes. To prevent scratching, clean only one or two pieces at a time.

Remove stubborn build up:

Use the cotton swab or a toothbrush to gently loosen any stubborn build up.

Rinse & Dry:

Rinse all clean jewelry with warm water. Allow to air dry or use a microfiber cloth to gently buff dry.
